FOREWORD

It is being noticed that the author with his best effort has presented the doctrines of Eka sharana Hari Naam Dharma by selecting the relevant verses from the scriptures composed by Jagat Guru shreemanta Shankardev. By translating the asameeyaa verses into Hindee and English language, the author has imparted benefit to those readers who have not studied the asameeyaa (assamese) language. He has beautifully presented the scientific aspects of religious doctrine of Shankardev by mentioning different verses in this book. Besides that, he has brought to the light about the supremacy of vedaantic doctrine and the way of devotion. Further, he has proved the use-lessness of both the way of knowledge and idolatry through the nectar doctrines of Shankardev. The glory of Krishna-Naam is the way of monotheism which has been presented with excellent capability. The glory of both devotee and devotion have been described which proves the uselessness of the braahminised rituals (karmakaanda). The verses which express about the glory of India and the importance of human being, have made the book more essenceful. The verses used from the Raamaayana & the biography of Shankardev have augmented dignity of the book.

The author has presented Jagat guru shreemanta Shankardev’s contributions to the world in different headings according to the subject matter. The author has contributed a lot to introduce Shreemanta shankardev to the world by translating the nectar doctrines of Shankardev into Hindi and English language. Feel that the author has taken so much of pains in translating & editing the book. The author’s endeavour would be successful if the readers are benefited from this book. At the end, I have expresssed my greatfulness to Dr. Paraag Bhooyaan for his devotion to the religion and philosophy which was founded by Shreemanta Shankardev.
