(Shreemadbhagavat Mahapuran Composed by Srimanta Sankardev)
With knees down and humbly with hands conjoining,
Brahmaa and Shiva started praying :
………………………………………………………….
Who is omniscient omnipresent in the universe,
we are fortunate enough to have Thy presence.
………………………………………………………….
therefore, the universe do think of Thy Feet,
(so) we do pray to Thee the supreme truth Naaraayana.
Tapa japa pilgrimage will not make anybody holy,
(But) who listen to Thy Characters become pure and holy.
………………………………………………………….
(we) Therefore have come to take refuge to thee,
O’ Lord lead us to light at Thy Feet.
Thy servants we all creatures,
Thou omniscient and do nurture the wholy universe.
