FOUR ESSENCES OF EK SHARAN HARI NAAM DHARMA
(i) PRECEPTOR (GURU)
a) Shreemanta Shankara Hari bhakatara
Jaanaa jena kalpataru |
taahaanta binaaya naai naai naai
Aamaara Parama Guru ll (375)
(Naam Ghoshaa : Mahaapurush Shree Shree Maadhav Dev)
Shreemanta Shankardev is as omniscient as Kalpataru
for the devotees to Krishna ;
None none none is our great preceptor (Guru)
except Shankardev. (375)
N.B.- Kalpataru means the divine tree which fullfils all good desires.
b) Shreemanta Shankare paachhe kahilaa saadari |
Shravan Keertan maatra jaanaa nishtha kari ||
bulilaa aakese guru shankare aamaaka |
aata kari sugama naahike dharibaaka ||
(Voice of Mahaapurush Shree Shree Damodar Dev : Described in Shri shri Banshigopal Charit)
Shreemanta Shankardev then said with fondness :
that listening-singing of the Lord’s glory is the essence.
The preceptor (Guru) Shankardev told us this only,
And no other easy way there is to abide by.
(Translated by Dr Paraag Bhooyaan)

(Shreemadbhagavat : Composed by Srimanta Sankardeva)
Four vedas, fourteen scriptures say about Krishna
The universe is truly the part of Krishna. (76)
(Translated by Dr Paraag Bhooyaan)
