I, Shankaradev the subservient to krishna have said:
do listen to me, O’ citizens of the world;
knowing the essence, do abandon other illusion
and do chant glory of the God.
who knows the day of last breath of mortal body
and the moment when soul leaves the body?
will you again be the fortunate to take birth in short time
in Bhaaratvarsha as human body ? (213)
After taking crores of birth human beings accumulate
good results of good deed;
These creatures seldom take birth as human
in Bhaaratvarsha indeed.
The human-birth is hard to get by gods and goddesses
so why you make it unsuccessful?
Therefore staying at home and remembering the God,
do have salvation invaluable. (214)
