(9) CREATURE

aachhe mana samasta praaneera hridayata|
eeshvarara pratibimba laagichhe manata|| (66)
take buli jeeva mana ere bhinna nui|
eka pinda bhailaa yena lohaa agni dui||
mane dukha paaile jeeva bole main paaon|
mane yaika yaaon jeeve bole main yaaon|| (67)
(Shreemadbhaagavat : Third Part, Anaadi Paatan)
mind dwells in heart of all creatures;
and the God’s image is formed in mind of all creatures. (66)
when the soul enters the body, it is called creature
which can not be separated from mind;
as if the iron and fire do unit together
to form one fire-mass.
When the mind is unhappy, the creature also feels unhappy;
and where the mind goes, the creature wants to go there. (67)

(10) THE SOUL

naahi janma purbato adyaapi nohe jaata|
ajara amara tumi aatmaase saakshaata || (204)
dehate aachaahaa maatra tumi dehaa heena|
yena agni thaakante kaasthato kari bhinna|| (205)
(Shreemadbhaagavat : Tweelfth Part, Description of Brahmagyaan)
Thou art the ‘soul’ that is the miniature form
of the supreme soul;
which was neither born nor would born at all. (204)
Incorporeal thou just dwell within the body of creature;
as if in spite of presence of fire in wood,
the fire has self existence. (205)
(Translated by Dr Paraag Bhooyaan)

(11) BIRTH-DEATH

Brahmaa aadi kari jata aachhe praaneechaya|
samastare hove nite utpatti pralaya||(156)
(Srimanta Shankerdev Shreemadbhaagavat : Tweelfth Part, Pralaya Kathan)
Including Brahmaa all the creatures are there,
and inevitable for all, the birth and death are. (156)
(Translated by Dr Paraag Bhooyaan)

(12) ILLUSION

Abastuka dekhaavaya bastuka aavari|
ehise mohora maayaa jaanaa nishtha kari|| (229)
(Srimanta Shankerdev Shreemadbhaagavat : Second Part)
