Chaitanyadev (1486-1533 A.D.) – Mahaapurush Chaitanyadev was born in west Bengal in the year 1486 A.D. and fied in the year 1533 A.D.
He did not compose any scriptures. Therefore, if we analysis about his religious philosiphy, then it will be nothing but imaginary analysis.
But after two hundred years of death of chaitanyadev, i.e. in eighteenth century, Baladev Bidyaabhooshan, Jeeva Goswaamee, Krishnadaas Kabiraaj composed different books like Chaitanya Charitaamrit, Chaitanya Bhaagavat etc and they published these books as the religious philosophy of Chaitanradev. They mentioned that Chaitanyadev was mainly bhativaadee and he worshipped the idol of Raadhaa & Krishna. Therefore, Chaityanyadev kept faith in idol worship also. It is stated that although he kept faith in idol worship, he propagated naam keertan of Raadhaa-Krishna.
Again, Anukul Thaakur was born in nineteenth century. He alo worshipped the idol of Raadha-Krishna through through naam keertan. He kept faith in idol worship. Chaitanyadev and Anukul Thaakur worshipped Raadhaa & Krishna in this way –
“Jau Raadhe Raadhe Krishna Krishna Krishna Raadhe Raadhe.”
Here, the character Raadhaa has been mentioned by Chaitanyadev and Anukul Thaakur. The Character ‘Raadhaa’ is not mentioned by Vyaasdev in his sanskrit Mahabhaagavat. Therefore it it to be noted that the character Raadhaa is not found in the original sanskrit Bhaagavat. Vyaasdev did not mention the character. Raadhaa, rather the great sage Vyaasdev mentioned about the gopees (the lady devotees) only. In raasleelaa, the means or way for assimilation of the Souls of lives into the supreme Soul has been mentioned.

अर्थात, जिन श्रीरघुनाथ जी के चरण शिवजी और ब्राहृाजी के द्वारा पूज्य है, उनकी मुझपर कृपा होनी उनकी परम कोमलता हैं।
