Can be translated into English in the following way –
“I have informed the world that I am an educated disciple,
and I need a Guru (Preceptor);
Sharkardev, the Guru of the world is present in my home,
but I the blind have not seen.”

10) “What Shankadev was able to do, today the whole Army of English knowing can not do. I have nothing to teach the people of Assam. The Ram Rajya which I imagine today, had been established in Assam long ago by Shankardev. I am only persing him.”

11) The doctrine of Shankardev is monotheism uncompromisingly. As a matter of fact, there can be no compromising of true principles. So it is that Shankardev wrote –
“Anya devi-deva nakaribaa seva
nakhibaa prasaada taara|
Moortiko nachaaibaa griho napashibaa
Bhakti haibo byabhichaara||”
It means bow not to other gods and goddesses. Enter not the house where it is worshipeed. Cast not a glance at the image. Partake not of their offerings, lest thy devotion to the one should be polluted. 12) “Srimanta Sankardeva belongs to the first category of great men. He was born great. He was a Mahapurusha of the first magnitude. He was not merely ‘great’ but ‘extraordinarily great’. His life was a saga of love for Lord Krishna. His doctrine of Eka-Sarana-Bhagavata Dharma (Eka Sarana Hari Naam Dharma) made him a unique person, indeed, another incarnation of the benevolent Lord Himself. He was a Kaarana Janma, i.e. one born with a purpose. Shankardev considered every living being as potentially divine and as naturally subservient to the Lord. His philosophy, like the sacred Ganges, ramified into a thousand streams. flowed into several lands and sanctified the whole country. His love for humanity transcended all barriers of caste and
