The first name denoting Param-Brahma is “Ong” (om). Krishna the supreme soul is mentioned in the scripture Geetaa in the following way –
“Giraamasmyekamaksharam” (Geetaa : 10th chapter, 25th verse);
It means that I am the only alphabet and I am the “Ongkaar” (omkaar) for expressing in tongue. The Lord Krishna mentioned in Geetaa that He (Krishna) Himself nurtures and gives the result of work to all creatures. He mentioned that he himself is the father, mother & grand father. He also mentioned in Geetaa that He (Krishna) himself is the holy ongkaar, rikveda, Saambeda and yajur veda.
Therefore, the ongkaar, the indicative of supreme soul is nobody but Shreekrishna who incarnated Himself on the earth. All the creatures including gods & goddesses acknowledge Him as the Supreme Soul.
